How I made the claws of X-23 and Wolverine by MartinDNoa How I made the claws of X-23 and Wolverine by MartinDNoa
At the request of :iconkungfuhime2009: , I upload how did the claws of wolverine and x-23.

The material I used was white methacrylate of 0,3 mm.
I used a template made earlier in a sheet , put the template on top of the methacrylate and marked with a pen the figure. I then cut and I to sand the claws. For painting I used a silver Montana spray and for not damage the claws grip part, I used black sticky tape.

In this way, the claws don't fall from the hands and them you can open and close, and they seem that they go out of the skin.

Is there a substitute you would recommend? Wood perhaps? The length, width, and thickness would be cool so i can make my own. you're are so realistic looking.

the wood, if you don't find methacrylate, could be useful, but is more flimsy and see that it's wood. but most people I know made the claws of wood, them is useful :)
